Put another way, we all need to become owners.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;To become an owner is to become a fully mature adult.  Note also that the tax structure in the U.S. (and presumably elsewhere) somewhat unjustly favors owners.  Those who own a LOT pay much less taxes, on a % basis, on their income.
